You can now buy little pots of 'spice bag seasoning' in Dublin and Cork

And cooking was never the same again.

WE DON’T NEED to tell you that the country loves a spice bag (if you’re not familiar, allow us to explain).

From a takeaway, they’re magical, but efforts to recreate them at home have often been disappointing… until now.

Tubs of special spice bag seasoning are on sale in certain shops around Ireland:

Where has this been all our lives (well, for the past two years)?

The seasoning is the creation of Irish brand ChanChan Sauce, run by the Hong Kong born, Donegal raised chef Kwanghi Chan.

It’s currently on sale in Asia Market on Dublin’s Drury Street (UPDATE 17.46: the Asia Market has already sold out for the day because of demand), Supervalu in Knocklyon, and Bradley’s Off License in Cork, but will soon be available online.
